Lecture Ecriture: "Oh my goodness, what a book!"
Roslund & Thunberg’s Made in Sweden I is reviewed in Lecture Ecriture :
“Oh my goodness, what a book! I couldn’t put it away in the evening, I had to go to the end of the story … It’s an understatement to say that the novel is fascinating and well-constructed. The characters are fantastic (oh, that Leo …) and it’s breathtaking when the robbers are described … A lively, scaring, violent crime novel. The first pages was very shaking and rough, but is was impossible to stop reading. It was to good … I am waiting for the sequel! / Mazette, quel morceau ce livre! Je ne ne pouvais pas le lâcher, il fallait que j’aille au bout de l’histoire … C’est peu dire que le roman est passionnant, bien construit. Les personnages sont formidablement campés (oh ce Léo…) et le récit fonctionne aussi bien lorsque sont décrits les braquages (on en a le souffle coupé…) … Un roman, vif, nerveux, violent, (attention les premières pages secouent rudement…) une écriture précise et plus qu’efficace, impossible d’en rester là, c’était trop bon … A suite would be in preparation!”
